On Monday, Her Majesty’s Treasury (HMT) implemented Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2018/420 by adding the following persons to sanctions on Syria:
1. AJEEB Yusuf
a.k.a: (1) AJEEB, Yousef (2) AJIB, Yousef (3) AJIB, Yusuf Address: Scientific Studies, Barzeh Street, P.O. Box 4470, Damascus. Position: Head of Security for the Scientific Studies and Research Centre (SSRC) Other Information: Holds the rank of Brigadier General, a senior officer in the Syrian Armed Forces, in post after May 2011. Since 2012, he has been Head of Security for the Scientific Studies and Research Centre (SSRC) which is involved in the chemical weapons proliferation sector.
