The European Union just copied the recent US restrictions on Russia based on its continuing interference in Ukrainian affairs:
- A ban on involvement in new issues of debt or equity with a maturity date longer than 90 days
- An export/import ban on arms, and an export ban on dual-use goods
- A ban on exports for exploration and production of deepwater oil, arctic oil and shale oil
That last one really hits home, as it impact the large Exxon/Rosneft projects.
