DFAT, after the UN designation, has added the following company to its North Korean sanctions on its Consolidated List:
OCEAN MARITIME MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LIMITED (OMM)
Description: Ocean Maritime Management Company, Limited is theoperator/manager of the vessel Chong Chon Gang. It played a key role inarranging the shipment of concealed cargo of arms and related materiel fromCuba to the DPRK in July 2013. As such, Ocean Maritime ManagementCompany, Limited contributed to activities prohibited by the resolutions,namely the arms embargo imposed by resolution 1718 (2006), as modified byresolution 1874 (2009), and contributed to the evasion of the measuresimposed by these resolutions.
