Very curious… Her Majesty's Treasury has issued a notice about the now-repealed Liberian sanctions, along with an annex which lists all the individuals and entities no longer subject to sanctions. Why? Because they added additional information. Why? Probably so entities which blocked assets can be assured they have the right person's information.
Still weird – why would you block the account in the first place if you didn't match the info on HMT's Consolidated List? But it is what it is….
